Porsche has revealed the first images of the new Porsche 919 Hybrid who will race this year at the WEC and the 24h of Le Mans.
The pictures are of a private test did it on the 15th of January at the Porsche test track in Weissach, Germany.
Porsche will continue the development of the 919 Hybrid 2015 on the 18th of January in Abu Dhabi.
The Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 has a V4 2.0 turbocharged engine and another electric engine which move the front wheels. Also the car have two energy recovery systems for charge the batteries which move the electric engine.
The most important aerodynamic changes are in the front of the car. A new front part, longer and higher.
Porsche engineers are focused on the friability because last year, in Le Mans, they lost the race because of it.
We will see how the new car will perform on track.
