The FIA shared details about F1 Dutch GP weekend with regards to track limits, DRS zones, circuit changes and more, as Hungary’s note is shared.
The track limits as per FIA Race Directors’ Note is white line for this weekend’s F1 Dutch GP at Circuit Zandvoort. But he has noted about escape roads at certain corners, which includes Turn 1, Turn 8 and Turn 11. The drivers will have to rejoin as per the instructions, which follows:
- Any driver going straight and who misses the corner at Turn 1 must follow the small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at the exit of Turn 1.
- Any driver going straight and who misses the corner at Turn 8 must follow the small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at Turn 9.
- Any driver going straight and who misses the corner at Turn 11 must follow the small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at Turn 12.
Interestingly, the change to circuit from last year is just the one, which is ‘reprofile the end of the kerb at the apex of Turn 6’. In terms of the DRS zones, the detection for first is at entry of Turn 10 and activation is 50m after Turn 10, while the detection for second is 20m after Turn 12.
Its activation is 40m after Turn 13. The FIA stewards panel for Dutch GP will be led by Nish Shetty, with Matthew Selley at his side alongwith Pedro Lamy and Natalie Corsmit. In addition to this, the stewards also shared about post-race checks done after Hungarian GP, relating to three cars.
They selected Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, Mercedes’ George Russell and Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso’s cars to check on the TPMS, which is tyre pressure monitoring system. They found everything to be in conformity of the 2025 regulations.
