The FIA shared details regarding the F1 Huangarian GP ahead of the weekend at Hungaroring with changes to circuit, DRS zone, stewards and more noted.
The last race before the summer break had limited and precise FIA Race Directors’ note for F1 Hungarian GP at Hungaroring, where Eduardo Freitas continues on for another grand prix as race director from last weekend at Paul Ricard.
Much like how Neils Wittich presents the track limits, Freitas used his lines to denote white line as track limits with no specific corner being looked at for starters. For the changes made to the circuit, it is limited to marshal posts being in line with the regulation.
“The numbering of the Marshal Posts is now in line with the requirements of Appendix H of the International Sporting Code,” stated the FIA note. On the DRS side, the detection for both zones sits at 5m before Turn 14.
The activation for the first one is 40m after Turn 14, while for the second one is 6m after Turn 1. Moving on to the FIA stewards, Nish Shetty will lead the pannel which will feature Matthew Selly, Derek Warwick and Lajos Herczeg.
