FIA shares details of DRS, track limits & more for Las Vegas GP

The FIA has shared details for F1 Las Vegas GP in terms of track limits, DRS zones, stewards names along with lap around in a safety car.

There is no scope of ‘changes to the circuit’ considering it is a new track on the F1 calendar. The track limits, as well, is the white lines and the walls around the Las Vegas GP circuit as per the FIA Race Directors’ note from Niels Wittich.

The detection point of the first DRS zone is at 10m after Turn 2, with activation at 20m after Turn 4. The detection point of the second zone is at 710m after Turn 12, with the activation point at 820m after Turn 14.

The new grand prix’s FIA stewards panel will be led by Garry Connelly and he will have the support of Loic Bacquelaine, Derek Warwick and Dennis Dean. The race director has also noted about no practice starts allowed at the pit exit considering the positioning.
