FIA FR World Cup and FIA F4 World Cup teams confirmed

In partnership with the Macau Grand Prix Organising Committee (MGPOC) and the Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC), the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the global governing body for motor sport and the federation for mobility organisations worldwide, is pleased to announce the teams that have been selected to contest the FIA FR World Cup and FIA F4 World Cup in Macau from 19-22 November.

Thirteen teams, each running two Tatuus T 326 FIA Formula Regional Gen2 cars, have been confirmed for the headlining FIA FR World Cup, which also counts as the 73rd Macau Grand Prix, with the highly competitive 26-car line-up including pacesetting FIA Formula Regional European Championship outfits, the winning teams from the 2025 FIA FR World Cup and Formula Regional Japanese Championship, plus a team representing the historic legacy and international heritage of motor sport in Macau.

Twelve outfits have also been confirmed for the second edition of the FIA F4 World Cup. For drivers in the early stages of their international careers, the FIA F4 World Cup will follow a multi-team entry model and use the Tatuus F4-T421 for its second edition.

Confirmation of the participating teams follows a selection process managed by the FIA and the AAMC, the FIA sport Member Club in Macau. This process considered sporting merit, international representation and operational excellence and concluded with 13 teams being selected for the FIA FR World Cup and 12 teams being selected for the FIA F4 World Cup in accordance with maximum grid limits.

The FIA FR World Cup’s 13 invited teams will form a 26-car grid designed to deliver the highest level of competition, while respecting the unique sporting and safety demands of the Guia Circuit. They include Pinnacle Motorsport, which finished first and second in last year’s event, R-ace GP, the current leader of the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, and TOM’S Racing, the winning Formula Regional Japanese Championship team in 2025. The historic legacy and international heritage of motor sport in Macau is represented by Theodore Racing, while CL Motorsport, G4 Racing, MP Motorsport, Rodin Motorsport and RPM are FIA FR World Cup newcomers. The new-for-2026 Tatuus T 326 FIA Formula Regional Gen2 cars will race at Macau for the first time.

FIA F4 World Cup: New format brings newcomers to Macau
Twelve teams, each running two cars, have been selected to contest the second running of the FIA F4 World Cup. As well as moving to a multi-team entry model having run to an arrive-and-drive format under one central operation previously, the Tatuus F4-T421 will take to Macau’s Guia Circuit for the first time as the new base car. With the 2026 edition marking the first time that individual teams are contesting the FIA F4 World Cup, the selection criteria has been based on the final standings of 2025 Formula 4 Championships Certified by the FIA to ensure the strongest level of competition possible. To ensure the historic legacy and international heritage of motor sport in Macau is represented, Theodore Racing is one of the 12 selected teams

The following teams will contest the 2026 FIA F4 World Cup:

Co-organised by FIA Member Club, the Automobile General Association Macao-China (AAMC), the Macau Grand Prix is widely recognised as a key proving ground for rising stars of motor sport, with the event’s 6.120-kilometre layout firmly established as a tough but rewarding track to take on.

Pirelli is the official tyre supplier to both the FIA FR World Cup and FIA F4 World Cup.

These teams not only continue to achieve considerable success at national and international level, they also operate to extremely high standards and reflect strong sporting values. We are still more than four months from the 73rd Macau Grand Prix week, but the expectations have been raised considerably with the confirmation of the competing teams.”
