Ferrari junior Bearman sticks with Prema for 2024 F2 season

Oliver Bearman, F2

Ferrari junior Oliver Bearman will stick with Prema Racing for his second FIA F2 Championship season to complete its 2024 line-up.

PREMA Racing announces that Ollie Bearman will continue to race with the team in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship. The 18-year-old British racer, who delivered a race-winning rookie campaign in 2023, is set for his second season in the high-profile F1 feeder series. He is looking to build and improve on the already exceptional results of this year, which included four wins, three of which in the feature races, and three pole positions.

Bearman joined PREMA for the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship after winning two Formula 4 titles in 2021. He made amazing progress race by race, ending up a close third in points and contributing to PREMA’s Team Championship title.

As the 2024 series will provide an exciting twist with the debut of the brand-new F2 machinery, Bearman is looking forward to another exceptional run, once again supported by the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Rene Rosin – Team Principal: “It is great to have Ollie back with us for another year after the great seasons he had with us so far. The way he adapted, improved, and developed is outstanding, and we cannot wait to see what this progress will take us further down the road. We also think that the experience he had this year will help him and the team in adapting to the new car. It’s definitely going to be an interesting and promising experience.”

Ollie Bearman: “I’m really happy to be joining PREMA Racing again in Formula 2. I’ve come a long way as a driver and as a person these two years thanks to them, and I’m excited to continue the work we have been doing into next season.”
