Fenestraz takes pole position in Eurocup FR2.0 finale

Sacha Fenestraz has taken the pole position for the last race of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, which takes place in Estoril, Portugal. The Franco-Argentine finished ahead of Defourny and Norris.

In the early stages of the session, the champion Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing) started setting the pace with a 1:51,683.

But surprisingly Fenestraz (Tech 1 Racing) got provisional pole, while the local driver, Henrique Chaves (AVF) was improving the pace.

However in the middle session after the first flying laps, it was Max Defourny (R-ace GP) in the led, followed by James Allen (JD Motorsport) and Lando Norris.

Then Norris improved, and everything pointed to a new pole position for the British, but Henrique Chaves remove the champion with one second remaining.

Already with the checkered flag on track, was Fenestraz who set the pole position, followed by Defourny and Norris.
