F1 TV has curated a documentary titled ‘Rookies’ showcasing the journey of the five rookies who are to make their debut in 2025.
The rise of five new drivers to this year’s Formula 1 grid has been captured in a 50-minute documentary called ‘Rookies’ for F1TV which is released with just over a month to go before the group hit the track at the Australian Grand Prix.
With Jack Doohan joining Alpine, 2024 F2 Champion and 2023 F3 Champion Gabriel Bortoleto signing for Kick Sauber, Andrea ‘Kimi’ Antonelli taking a seat for Mercedes, Oliver Bearman joining Haas, and 2024 F2 Vice-Champion Isack Hadjar confirmed for RB for the 2025 Formula 1 season, the documentary follows their rise through the motorsport pyramid from the junior ranks in FIA Formula 3 and FIA Formula 2.
Fans will be taken behind the scenes of their journey to understand how they realised their lifelong dreams of becoming F1 drivers. Motorsport fans can enjoy never-seen-before moments that have shaped these future stars, as well as exclusive interviews from those who were there to support them at every turn.
FIA Formula 2/ FIA Formula 3 CEO Bruno Michel gives his perspective on the graduating class, and the immense pride he feels as they step up to the pinnacle of motorsport and offers insight into the role that F2 and F3 has played in preparing these rookies for their F1 careers. This innovative and personal documentary can now be viewed on F1TV Access and F1TV Pro.
