Max Verstappen has clean swept the team bosses’ Top 10 for 2024 F1 season, receiving the clear 250 points for his exploits.

It is the first time in F1 ranking history that a driver has secured full 250 points for his performance. Red Bull’s Verstappen achieved that feat for his exploits in 2024 F1 season, where he clinched his fourth drivers’ world championship against odds due to the competition around.

They started off well which was key in Verstappen taking the title and his fight when the car didn’t perform was key for all the 10 team bosses to award him 25 points. As such, McLaren’s Lando Norris was second with 178 points, up by one place where he finished in 2023.

The same was for Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in third with 121 points, where he improved by one position from 2023. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri saw a three-place jump to fourth with 113 points, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz made one place in fifth, scoring 110 points in all.

Mercedes’ George Russell also made a three-place jump from 2023 to be sixth with 86 points, while Lewis Hamilton was down by two places in seventh with 54 against his name. Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg made it in the Top 10 as a new entry from 2023, in eighth, with 39 points.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso dropped by seven places to be ninth with 27 points after a difficult 2024 season, while the Top 10 was rounded out by Alpine’s Pierre Gasly – another new entry – with 21 points. They replaced Alexander Albon and Sergio Perez from the 2023 list.

Here’s the team bosses who voted: Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Christian Horner, Ayao Komatsu, Mike Krack, Laurent Mekies, Oli Oakes, Andrea Stella, Fred Vasseur, James Vowles, Toto Wolff.
