F1 has shared a revised 2021 calendar for the second half, with the changes paving way for 22 races as opposed to the target of 23 rounds.
After the meeting between F1 team bosses and Stefano Domenicalli, the sport released a revised 2021 calendar with multiple changes, which paved way to have 22 events, as opposed to the 21 which were to take place in the season.
The current races at Spa, Zandvoort and Monza will stay on as it is, while Russia will take place on September 24-26 as scheduled. Post the Russian event, Turkey has been moved to October 8-10 date from its October 3-5 date to allow teams to complete 14-day run.
The US GP stays on the original date of October 22-24, but the races in Mexico and Brazil has been moved to November 5-7 and November 12-14 date, where the American event becomes a standalone round, while the Mexican race starts a new triple.
The third race in that triple will take place on November 19-21, but the venue is not confirmed with Qatar, Bahrain and Mugello in the frame. The 2021 F1 season will eventually end with races in Saudi Arabia (December 3-5) and Abu Dhabi (December 10-12).
