F1 fans vote the pairing of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton as the best driver line-up for 2025 season over the duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
With the factories re-opened and teams now working towards the 2025 season, F1 conducted a fan vote asking about the best driver pairing for the new season which is to see lots of changes, with as many as eight teams undergoing changes, leaving just Aston Martin and McLaren.
One of the biggest changes is at Ferrari where Hamilton will join Leclerc in a dream-scenario like move from the seven-time world champion. It was announced at the start of the 2024 F1 season and seeing the potential, the fans have voted them to be the best pairing with 56% of votes.
While Leclerc is yet to win a title, but he has shown good promise and for Hamilton to drive a Ferrari in this lifetime is nothing than a dream. The pair has beaten the McLaren duo of Norris and Piastri, who received 29% of vote ahead of another new line-up at Red Bull.
It is Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson with just 6% of vote. In fourth is Williams’ new pairing of Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon, while Mercedes rounds out the Top 5 with their new duo of George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, where they have just received 1% of the fans vote.
The fan vote was initiated by F1 website on Friday of last week. The Top 5 best voted has four new driver pairings, with just one from 2024 at McLaren. The other teams apart from the above to have a line-up are Alpine, Sauber, Haas and Visa Cash App RB.
