F1 Exhibition is open in Madrid with host of deliverables

F1 Exhibition has been officially launched in Madrid with host of deliverables placed for the fans to experience the sport up close.

After years of work put in, F1 Exhibition is officially open at IFEMA MADRID where Stefano Domenicali and lead curator Timothy Harvey were present at the opening event to greet everyone visiting the place with host of deliverables.

Here’s a list of things that F1 fans can see –

The F1 Exhibition has six rooms which the fans can go through. It starts from ‘Once Upon A Time in Formula 1’ room where photographs have been placed of iconic moments through the years. They then step into the ‘Design Lab’ which takes inside a Formula 1 factory.

They can go through the state-of-art machines that F1 teams use where Pirelli also gives an insight into tyre production. The next room ‘Drivers and Duels’ offers fans a design inspired by the Formula 1 circuits which celebrates the iconic grands prix.

The ‘Revolution By Design’ showcases the innovations from F1 teams as the journey ends at ‘The Pit Wall’ which allows fans to see some moments from a position they have never seen. Fans can visit from March 24 as tickets are available from €19.99 onward.

“I am delighted to be here in Madrid to officially open this spectacular Exhibition,” said Domenicali. “I am particularly excited that our passionate Spanish fans will have the opportunity to first experience this breathtaking show. I am grateful to everyone who has helped capture the heart and soul of the sport we all love in this Exhibition.

“It celebrates Formula 1’s history in such innovative and engaging ways – I know our fans around the world will love it.” At the same time, Harvey added: “I am so pleased this day is finally here. The concept for this Exhibition was first discussed in 2017, so it’s been a long – but incredible – journey.

“To map out the history of the sport I love has been one of the biggest honours of my life. Building something like this is a huge undertaking and I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard and contributed their time to make it the incredible show it is today. I hope people enjoy experiencing it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.”
