F1 drivers rate Verstappen as best for 2024 season

Max Verstappen leads the drivers’ Top 10 as well for 2024 F1 season, but didn’t secure the 250 points like the team bosses.

After he was ranked the best by the F1 team bosses for 2024 season with a clean 250 points, he has been chosen as the best by his rivals too for securing his fourth drivers’ title against all odds. They started off well which was key in Verstappen was taking the title.

As such, McLaren’s Lando Norris was second up by two places where he finished in 2023. The same was for Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in third, where he improved by two positions. Mercedes’ George Russell was fourth, entering the Top 10 in 2024 after missing out in 2023.

McLaren’s Oscar Piastri saw a three-place jump to fifth, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz slotted in sixth. Alpine’s Pierre Gasly was seventh – up by two places. Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg was another new entry in eighth, with Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso in ninth and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton 10th.

Alonso dropped by six places, while Hamilton dropped by eight. Yuki Tsunoda, meanwhile, missed by just in the Top 10, as Williams’ Alexander Albon and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez were the two who did not make it in Top 10 like they did in 2023 and were replaced by Russell and Hulkenberg.
