Bad weekend for Manor F1 Team at Marina Bay street circuit in Singapore. After a bad lap times in practice and qualifying, tomorrow will had a penalty of 5 places in the grid.
Awful night weekend race for Manor. On Thursday they changed Roberto Merhi for Alexander Rossi at last moment. Then the American on practice didn’t reach the pace and he and his team mate, Will Stevens had a crash.
Under this scenario, Will Stevens and Alexander Rossi decided to change his gearbox giving a penalty of 5 places in the gird that doesn’t affect them, because they will start on last row of the grid.
This means that they will have to wait 5 second on their respective pit stops.
Force India, Lotus and Sauber changed their gearbox as well but on Friday, which is legal. Manor did the same with Rossi but this morning had to do it again.
