F1 has announced a joint launch event of all the 10 teams for the 2025 season in February in London – a first in the sport to happen.

The usual practice all these years has been separated launch events which all the 10 teams hold on different days – sometimes on same day but at different times. But for the 2025 F1 season, Liberty Media has managed to convince for all-in-one launch event at one place.

The event will take place on February 18 in London’s O2 arena where all the 10 teams and 20 drivers will be present for the launch. It will take place from 8 PM UK time until 10 PM, where fans can attend live and the world can witness live from around the globe.

The ticket price ranges from £58 to £113 – as per the location – which includes booking fees (an additional transaction fee of £2.50 per order will apply). It will go on sale at 10 AM on November 15 at www.theo2.co.uk/F175live.

The event will be managed by Brian Burke of BrianBurkeCreative, Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and production company 1826. This is first-ever to happen in F1 after years of trying and has been made possible since cars are mostly to remain same.

There will be host of driver changes though, with Lewis Hamilton being a big catch at Ferrari. There will be rookies like Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), Jack Doohan (Alpine), Oliver Bearman (Haas), Gabriel Bortoleto (Sauber) and potentially Liam Lawson.

“For the first time we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing,” said Stefano Domenicali. “With 2025 set to be a classic season following all the drama so far in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans of all ages to experience up-close the incredible entertainment spectacle that is Formula 1.”

At the same time, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, stated: “The FIA is delighted to join our colleagues at FOM and all the teams in the staging of the inaugural Formula 1 season launch event. The occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the sport throughout the 2025 season.”

And finally, Brian Burke, added: “It’s an incredible honour to continue to partner with Formula 1 creating new entertainment experiences, especially this brand-new launch event of the 2025 season celebrating the 75th anniversary of the sport. Through our collaboration with all 10 teams, fans can be assured we’ll be delivering a truly exciting live experience combining the unveiling of the new liveries, interviews with the biggest names in F1, and cutting-edge entertainment. It will be a never-before-seen event not to be missed!”
