Ivan Taranov has announced yesterday at night that he is a GP3 Series driver in a team who receive the support of a Formula 1 team. That entire thing makes to think that the russian will drive for Hilmer Motorsport.
“I AM A GP3 DRIVER! SUPPORTED BY A FORMULA 1 TEAM! Couldn’t dream of anything better than that…” said Ivan Taranov on his Facebook yesterday for his friends.
Taranov makes the step to the GP3 Series, after test the car with Russian Time during the Post-season test in Abu Dhabi, last Year. In 2013, he finished 12th in Protyre Formula Renault Championship, and also compete in 4 races of the Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS.
In 2012 he drove at Protyre Formula Renault BARC who finished 10th. The same championship was the championship where Taranov did the step from Karting, he finished on P14.
