The session has started with a track output from Marc Márquez and Andrea Iannone at turn 9. But on the standings, Pol Espargaró was leading the session.
Then Márquez, Rossi and Smith had improved this lap time. With 7 minutes remaining and Marc Márquez leading the pace, some drops of rain had arrived at Assen circuit but it didn’t impeded Pol Espargaró to be the fastest of the session.
