The original proposed race start time for round two of the FIA Formula E Championship – the Putrajaya ePrix on November 22 – has been moved forwards by two hours.
Having monitored the weather situation in the past few weeks and taking into account the medium and long-term forecasts, Formula E working together with the FIA has decided to change the start to 14:00 local time from the planned 16:00.
The move has been done as a precaution due to the potential of heavy rainfall during the race window with the new start time allowing organisers greater flexibility to react in case of disruptive weather.
In addition to the race, each session has been moved back two hours, as well as a new longer combined non-qualifying session. For a full race timetable please see below.
