Three drivers changes are to note before the week-end at Spa-Francorchamps.

Some arrangements between Racing Engineering and Rapax are being revealed ahead of the week-end in Belgium. Nyck De Vries will end the season with Racing Engineering and Louis Delétraz with Rapax. The Dutchman commented:

We have been in touch since 2015 and it is great to finally get the chance to work together as they have a very high level of professionalism and a great track record. I hope we will be able to turn around their momentum and score the successes they have always had.”

Indeed, De Vries’ choice might seem surprising as Racing Engineering is facing a difficult season with discouraging results while the Dutchman already won a race with Rapax.

In the Italian squad, the second driver Sergio Canamasas will not race this week-end due to personal reasons. Roberto Merhi, after a week-end at Campos in Barcelona, will return to F2 with Rapax.
