Double great finish for Russian Time with Tom Dillmann who will start from the first position followed by Sam Bird who is under investigation with Canamasas and Coletti for unknown causes.
As usual in GP2 it has been formed the typical tail in the pit lane. When beginning the fast laps nobody would said that the time set by Tom Dillmann with 23 minute of session to go would be the faster.
The classification was pretty bad for the championship leader, Stefano Coletti (Rapax) coming eighteenth, but is under investigation for “limits of the track” having crashed into the post which points the meters remaining before the chicane of the circuit. Besides his nearest rival, Felipe Nasr (Carlin) will start in fourth place, pending on Bird’s investigation.
These are the results, now provisional but pending ongoing investigations: Dillmann, Bird, Leimer, Nasr, Ericsson, Richelmi, Palmer, Haryanto, Rossi, De Jong, Cecotto, Evans, Berthon, Calado, Lancaster, Rosenzweig, Trummer, Coletti, Leal, Abt, Binder, Quaife-Hobbs, Clos, Canamasas, Ghirelli and Teixeira.
