Dillmann on maiden pole position at Jerez

Maiden pole position for Frenchman, Tom Dillmann in Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Jerez. Carlin driver dominated the session to take an important pole position for a Race 1 that will be on wet conditions.

As we said yesterday, the Frenchman was the best guy in all kind of conditions and today we saw that with his pole position in a long qualifying which had 2 red flag due to outing off at turn 8 by Alfonso Celis and Dean Stoneman.

This was detrimental for Rowland and Vaxivière who had a 3 final minutes to improve but, Nyck de Vries went off to and cause a yellow flag at the end of the session, that didn’t help the champion and the runner-up of the series because they were improving more than any.

It was very damaging for Orudzhev who gets third place but due to yellow flag, his lap time was deleted and he drop to P16.
