Jorge Lorenzo took a dominant victory at Brno, that makes him the championship leader with 211 points and 5 victories. Márquez and Rossi rounded out the podium.
The bwin Grand Prix Ceske Republiky was all about Lorenzo who has no rival during the whole weekend. The phenomenal pace of the Movistar Yamaha rider helps him to win for fifth time this season.
Lorenzo untouchable again
The best Jorge Lorenzo came back again after the summer break. After lost the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix the Spanish rider shine with a solid pace to win flag to flag.
Not the same race for Márquez who tried to follow the pace of his compatriot until the half of the race when the Palma de Mallorca rider escaped from everyone.
Valentino Rossi achieves another podium that helps him to equalize Lorenzo with 211 points in the championship. The 9 time-world-champion didn’t have an easy race after start from third, he was overtook by Smith who made a gap between Rossi and the leaders. A gap that Rossi never had the chance to reduce it.
Ducati and Pedrosa the race behind the leaders
Andrea Iannone finished fourth after beat Andrea Dovizioso who had an early good pace but at the end got past by Dani Pedrosa. The Repsol Honda rider started from ninth, drop down to twelve place and comeback in six laps to sixth place. In those six laps he overtook six riders.
Bradley Smith finished seventh, in front of his Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team mate, Pol Espargaró. The brother of the Catalan finished ninth as Petrucci completes the top 10.
In Moto2, after the summer break any rider was able to beat Johann Zarco who wins again for his fourth victory this season. “Tito” Rabat finished on second place as his compatriot Alex Rins finished third.
In Moto3, after a red flagged race, Niccolò Antonelli managed to take his maiden win at Moto3 after start from pole position. Enea Bastianini comeback from the middle of the grid to a second place that helps him to cut the gap with Danny Kent –seventh place today for the Briton, as Brad Binder finished third.
Now the MotoGP paddock will have one week to rest before the British Grand Prix that will be held at Silverstone and not in Donington after a disagreement of circuit of Wales with Donington.
But before that, early next week the MotoGP field will have some testing days at Brno.
