Delétraz wins the first race in Hockenheim

Louis Delétraz has won Race 1 on the Hockenheimring, leading from start to finish and sweep the championship. Sasahara finished second and prevented the Swiss get enough points difference to mathematically crowned champions. Daruvala third is over.


The race has had a fairly clean start, with very few off-track without accidents. The first and only accident was not until after a few curves, when Fredricsson was played with Alex Gill and left him stuck in the gravel; the Swede was able to continue, but after less than a minute also had to leave.
This act has caused safety car on the track that has been just over 5 minutes. When the safety car returned to the pits, the race was relaunched with a very aggressive Delétraz, and was taking more and more distance Sasahara.

A 9 minutes remaining, the two pilots of AVF have been fighting among themselves; for almost an entire lap, Chaves and continuously Zaruba adelantaban to get the most points, and has finally been the Czechoslovak who has finished in front.

On the other hand, it has also seen a very interesting seventh among Mazepin, Max Defourny and Oskoui battle. The Russian went before them, but the pace started to drop and Max hit his wing while the Swedish dangerously close to the Belgian to attack. Defourny, trying to defend himself, had no choice but to leave Mazepin escape so he could keep Oskoui behind him.

Another title contenders, Kevin Jörg has been moving throughout the race between the fourth and fifth, and finally finished fourth.

And so it has finished the first race in Hockenheim, with Delétraz win a second position Sasahara and the third step of the podium. Jörg finished fourth and fifth was Vanthoor. The Top10 have completed Bulatov, Mazepin, Defourny, Oskoui and Riener.
