MOTORLAND ARAGÓN – Second session in which Delétraz owns the best time. Rookie driver finishes confident his first friday in Formula V8 3.5, while Orudzhev and Dillmann set themselves after him.
Louis Delétraz (Fortec Motorsports) may be thinking about tomorrow’s possibilities. Not taking into account last season’s Red Bull Ring, this is his first weekend in a 3.5 and he earned best friday lap, leading both sessions and leaving behind his teammate.
Swiss driver lead second practice since minute 7, taking the lead from Isaakyan (SMP Racing). Second best time of the day is from Tom Dillmann (AVF) in first session, and behind them there is Egor Orudzhev (Arden Motorsport), who was second this afternoon.
Temperature was 8 degrees over this morning’s, and so drivers were unable to improve their times during the afternoon.
Race simulations avoided any incident to happen during the session. The most was a last minute touch between Nissany (LOTUS) and Vaxivière (SMP Racing) that damaged frenchman’s wing. Vaxivière did not complete many laps. He does still have time to bring it up and even earning a victory as last years’, which ended bringing him to the fight for the championship.
