Louis Delétraz has taken another pole position despite being on Group A of Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 at Nürburgring, Germany. The Swiss will start ahead of Koiranen GP’s of Jack Aitken and Jake Hughes.
Nürburgring is a long circuit, and the drivers of Group A knew that and started quickly to go out in the track.
Louis Delétraz (Josef Kaufmann Racing) dominated the session ahead of Dennis Olsen (Manor MP Motorsport) in the early stages, but it was Jake Hughes (Koiranen GP) who finished third before the crash of Anthoine Hubert (Tech 1 Racing) at Dunlop.
The crash of the Frenchman caused the full-course-yellow and the end of the season. The marshals had to repair the fence, and this creates a delay of 40 minutes to the Group B drivers.
With a significantly different conditions for Group B, Jack Aitken (Koiranen GP) has attempt to get the pole position but, he finished one tenth behind Delétraz.
Is the fifth pole of the season for the BMW young driver that will start alongside of Jack Aitken. Row 2 are for Hughes and Sasahara, as D’Agosto, Barnicoat, Isaakyan, Jörg, Daruvala and Gachet completes the top 10.
