Nyck de Vries has shared a fresh update on multiple topics related to his F1 future amid links with Williams, Alpine and AlphaTauri.

In a fresh interview to Dutch RTL4, de Vries has opened up on multiple topics related to his F1 future which confirms discussions with multiple teams, where Williams has been on the list since a long time considering that he did a FP1 session with them in Spain.

Having made his F1 debut with Williams at Monza, de Vries thinks they are a logical step if things work out. At the same time, the Dutchman confirmed talks with Alpine since July and that he will test for them at Hungaroring next week as is being reported.

The Mercedes reserve is among the two-three drivers who are to test for Alpine with the list likely having Jack Doohan, Antonio Giovinazzi and Colton Herta. De Vries will fly out to Hungary on Monday and drive the A521 alongside others mentioned above.

While Alpine is testing these drivers, there is strong rumour about Pierre Gasly switching to Alpine which will vacate the seat at AlphaTauri alongside Yuki Tsunoda. There were reports of Herta joining, but a meet with Dr. Helmut Marko has put de Vires in the front seat.

The Dutchman confirmed about the meeting with Marko earlier this week in Austria. Amid all of this, de Vries is playing the waiting game for now to see how things unfolds as things are not in his control and a lot of things has to happen for him to land a F1 seat.

Regarding his results from Monza, he noted that one good result doesn’t secure a F1 drive, but he agrees that there is good momentum for it to happen with few seats available. However, there is no guarantee about anything especially in this sport.
