David Coulthard, former Formula 1 driver, shared a funny anecdote about Charles Leclerc, who recently married Alexandra Saint Mleux in Monaco. Coulthard hinted that Leclerc “stole his script,” as he himself plans to celebrate his wedding in the same place at the end of this month.
The Ferrari driver showed moments from his civil wedding, which took place on February 28, 2026 at the Monaco Town Hall. Leclerc confirmed that there will be a big celebration with family and friends next year.
In the podcast Up To Speed, Coulthard commented that he will also celebrate his wedding at the same registry, adding humorously that Leclerc had “stolen the script” from him. He was prepared to showcase a classic Mercedes from 1971, hoping that his fiancée, Sigrid Silversand, would be as elegant as Leclerc’s new wife.
After his wedding, Leclerc arrived at the paddock of the Australian Grand Prix, where he reflected on his special day. “A day I will always remember. It was a small and intimate moment that we enjoyed a lot,” he commented. The Ferrari driver is excited for this new chapter and looks forward to the next big event with his friends.
