Dorna Sport has revealed the dates of the two 2020 pre-season MotoGP tests at Sepang International Circuit and Losail International Circuit.
Before the actual three-day tests in 2020, MotoGP will have a two-day run at Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto, Spain, in 2019, which will take place on November 25-26, just over a week after the 2019 finale at Valencia.
The Jerez MotoGP test was already a confirmed fixture, but the dates for the 2020 running was revealed during the British GP at Silverstone along with the shakedown dates – all scheduled to take place in February.
The shakedown will take place at Sepang on February 2-4, which will be followed by the first official test on February 7-9. After about 10 days gap, the circus will move to Qatar for the final test at Losail circuit.
The circuit will host it on February 22-24. The calendar for the 2020 MotoGP season is yet to be revealed but the Finnish GP is more or less confirmed to take place in the summer, which will expand the calendar to 20 grand prix.
The test dates for the intermediate classes i.e Moto2 and Moto3 were also confirmed with Jerez hosting the first one on February 19-21, while Losail staging the second on February 28 – March 1.
