Driver Corey LaJoie will take the wheel of the Kaulig Ram #25 during the upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) race at Darlington Raceway, scheduled for March 20. This season, Kaulig Racing has implemented a program with five trucks, one of which has a rotating driver lineup.
So far, the #25 has been driven by Tony Stewart in Daytona, where he finished in the 36th position, and by Ty Dillon in Atlanta, achieving an 11th place. Now, LaJoie, who has 276 starts in the NASCAR Cup and 15 in the truck series, will seek to improve the results when he debuts in Darlington.
His last attempt in the NASCAR Truck was during Speedweek at Daytona, where he did not qualify for the Daytona 500 race after an accident on the last lap of his heat. LaJoie has achieved a best result of fifth place on three occasions during the previous season.
Regarding this, LaJoie has expressed his enthusiasm: “It’s always exciting to drive a NASCAR truck, especially at such a demanding track as Darlington. The Ram program brings fresh air to the championship, and I am very motivated to have the opportunity to drive for Kaulig. This team works very hard and I am determined to give my best to achieve a great result.”
