Conor Daly Returns to NASCAR Truck Series with Kaulig in Kansas

The veteran IndyCar driver, Conor Daly, will participate in the upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway. This will be his eighth appearance in the series and the second of the 2026 season.

Daly will again drive the No. 25 RAM 1500, a vehicle from Kaulig Racing. In one of his first races with the team, he started in 29th position and finished 26th at the IRP.

Regarding the upcoming race, Daly commented: “Indianapolis was about maintaining momentum and racing in tight spaces, but Kansas is a completely different animal. It’s fast, relies on aerodynamics, and the corners are wide; you need to adjust it perfectly and trust the vehicle during the long corners”.

In addition to his participation in the Truck Series, Daly has accumulated experience with three races in the Cup Series and three in the O’Reilly Series. One of his highlight moments was his appearance in the Daytona 500 in 2023, where he finished in 29th position.

While he is known for his career in open-wheel vehicles, Daly also stood out in the latest edition of the Indianapolis 500, where he finished 12th after leading four laps, noting that he has achieved a best finish of 6th in this historic event. With a total of 133 starts in IndyCar, he has earned two second places and one pole.

Regarding his experience with Kaulig Racing, Daly expressed his satisfaction: “It was amazing to race for Kaulig and Ram in Indianapolis; the team welcomed me with open arms, the truck was competitive, and racing in front of my fans made it a special night. I am grateful for the opportunity and excited to carry this momentum into Kansas”.

Kaulig Racing has used several drivers in their No. 25 truck this year, including names like Tony Stewart, Travis Pastrana, and AJ Allmendinger. The best performance of this vehicle is a 6th place achieved by Allmendinger at Watkins Glen.
