Somkiat Chantra (LCR Honda) has undergone successful surgery on his right forearm to treat chronic compartment syndrome, otherwise known as arm pump, following the conclusion of the Jerez Test.
The Moto2 race winner, who retired in Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix and completed 42 laps during the Test, has already been discharged post-operation to now recover ahead of the upcoming French GP at Le Mans.
