Cecotto takes over Pic at Sepang

    The Venezuelan driver Johnny Cecotto jr would replace Frenchman Arthur Pic for the penultimate GP2 round of the season at Sepang.

    The announcement has been made via the GP2 Series twitter account, stating that Johnny Cecotto jr would take over ill Arthur Pic who was forced to step down for the Malaysian round of GP2 series.

    Thanks to that replacement, Johnny Cecotto Jr, despite having announced his retirement from racing earlier in the season, takes part in his eighth season in GP2 Series and he continues to set his record of races as he is engaged for his 117th and 118th race in the category.
