The American driver will take part of the European Formula 3 championship returning with Carlin after his rookie season.
Getting paired with runner-up Antonio Giovinazzi, Ryan Tveter could not score solid points for the team, only scoring once in Zandvoort with a 9th place in the second race. Tveter although used this year to gather as much experience as possible, entering Zandvoort Masters of Formula 3 and Macau Grand Prix.
“My rookie year in FIA F3 was only my third full season in any kind of motorsport so I’m very excited to continue to work with Carlin and Volkswagen for a second season of FIA F3 in 2016.”

Tveter ended the 2015 FIA F3 season in 23rd position of the drivers’ championship and 13rd in the rookie championship and is the first driver confirmed by Carlin for the 2016 season.
