Max Verstappen remained on top in FP2 of F1 British GP from Carlos Sainz this time, with Alexander Albon ending up third again.

It was smooth in FP2 in F1 British GP with not much trouble for anyone apart from Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc who didn’t finish any lap due to electrical issue. The team couldn’t fix it on time as teammate Carlos Sainz set good pace to be second by 0.022s.

It was Red Bull’s Verstappen fastest with a 1m28.078s lap from Sainz (1m28.100s), as Williams were third once again with Alexander Albon (1m28.926s). His teammate Logan Sargeant was also on pace in fifth behind Red Bull’s Sergio Perez.

Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll was sixth as he had his mirror broken and hit by gravel on his finger. Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg was seventh from Alpine’s Pierre Gasly, with McLaren’s Oscar Piastri in ninth from Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso in the Top 10.

Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu also had steering wheel issues but got it changed to be 11th from lead Mercedes of George Russell in only 12th. The other Alpine of Esteban Ocon was 13th from the other McLaren and Mercedes in just 14th and 15th.

Lando Norris was ahead of Lewis Hamilton, with Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas in 16th from Haas’ Kevin Magnussen and the AlphaTauri pair of Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck de Vries, where the Dutchman had a late puncture when the chequered flag fell.
