The Spanish Grand Prix is getting closer and closer and with only six days to go and to see the cars in action again in the Circuit of Catalunya, both Red Bull drivers share with us their best memories and moments in this place.

Declarations

Sebastian Vettel: “The best moment I’ve experienced in here has been my victory in 2011, which was a very special one to me. It was a long race, and in the last 20 or 30 laps I had Lewis behind me, I was under pressure, and I had no KERS up to defend myself.
“The Circuit de Catalunya is interesting, with all its curves giving a good tune, but my favorite part is the first sector, because it is where the fast corners are. It’s good to be back in Europe, and in Spain in particular. The atmosphere is always very special in the European races and the weather is usually good, too.”

Mark Webber: “The best moment in my memory is my victory in 2010, I started from the pole, and it was a race which I controlled from my head. I pulled a space between Sebastian and me, afterwards Lewis was behind me and I had a little pressure on the ecuador of the race, but the English had a mechanical problem and that was the end of his race. It was helpful because we perform many tests here, and it’s good getting a good result. There’s always a great atmosphere in Spain. After the 2010 race I threw my helmet as a gift to fans.”
“The first sector is my favorite part, I like the exits of the curves two and three. And I like the curve thirteen, is a very rare turn right, downhill, a blind curve, but I think it is a nice curve for right-wing.”
