Nikola Tsolov –
We’re excited to welcome Nikola Tsolov to the Red Bull Junior Team (from Alpine Academy). He’ll be teaming up with Campos Racing for the 2025 Formula 3 season.
Campos Racing is pleased to announce that Nikola Tsolov becomes a new driver for the team for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 season. Thus, Tsolov joins the previously announced Mari Boya and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, forming the driving line-up that will be at the wheel of the new F3 single-seaters debuting next season. Recently, Tsolov and Boya already set the fastest times with Campos Racing-run cars in both Jerez and Barcelona, the venues for post-season tests.
Tsolov, born in Sofia (Bulgaria), is still only 17 years old despite being about to start his fourth season in single-seaters. After winning the double national karting championship in his country and the WSK Open Cup, Tsolov debuted in F4 Spain in 2022 and immediately became the dominant force in the category. This is evidenced by his thirteen victories and five other podiums in twenty-one races, leading him to win the title. Tsolov has competed in FIA Formula 3 for the past two seasons, achieving three wins in the second one.
The 2025 FIA Formula 3 season will consist of ten rounds, starting in Melbourne (March 15-16) before traveling to Bahrain (April 12-13). The European part of the calendar will begin in Imola (May 17-18), then move to Monaco (May 24-25), Barcelona (May 31-June 1), Red Bull Ring (June 28-29), Silverstone (July 5-6), Spa-Francorchamps (July 26-27), Hungaroring (August 2-3), and concluding in Monza (September 6-7).
Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “It is a pleasure to reunite with Nikola, a driver we have excellent memories of. He took his first steps in single-seaters with Campos Racing, winning the title in his first experience with us , and did so in an overwhelming manner. In the post-season tests we have conducted, we performed at a very high level in Jerez and Barcelona.
Nikola Tsolov (Campos Racing driver in FIA Formula 3): “I couldn’t be happier and more grateful for joining Campos Racing again in FIA F3 for next year.
