The local Government of Barcelona will reduce from 4 to 2 million of euros the subsidy to Barcelona-Catalunya circuit, which is the most important in Spain.

After the local elections, the city of Barcelona changed his government with Ada Colau from “En Comú Barcelona”, who said they were going to eliminate the subsidy from the Catalan capital.

Finally they reduced from 4 to 2 million of euros the subsidy to Catalunya track. Anyway, that’s not a problem for “Circuit de Catalunya” who received 30 million of euros from Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalonia Government), 4 million from “Diputació de Barcelona” (Barcelona Region Government) and several subsidy’s from the towns which the circuit is based: Granollers, Montmeló and Parets del Vallès.
