The Audi #7 will start from the pole position in a crazy qualifying conditions with rain. Audi made a one-two and beat the Porsches who struggled with tyres choice.
Under rain conditions the Audi Sport Team Joes of Marcel Fässler and André Lotterer took the pole position and led an Audi one-two who beat the Porsches of Mark Webber – third, and Marc Lieb fourth. Toyota’s didn’t get the pace under this changing conditions and finished on fifth and sixth.
In LMP2, Rene Rast under the G-Drive Racing #26 took the pole position in the category after his experience in DTM last weekend. The Russian team beat the Le Mans champions, the Signatech Alpine #36 of Gustavo Menezes. Impressive third position for the Gibson of Strakka Racing #42 with Lewis Williamson in the wheel.
In GTE Pro, Aston Martin #95 took the pole in front of Ford #66 and Aston Martin #97.
