Audi #7 in front in Bahrain’s Free Practices

Audi R18 e-tron quattro #7 (Audi Sport Team Joest), Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer, Benoît Tréluyer

Lotterer, Fassler and Treluyer were the fastest drivers in the Audi #7 in the end of the first two free practices of the 6 hours of Bahrain. In LMP2 the best time was set by the #28 G-Drive and in GTE Pro the fastest time was for Bruni and Vilander in the #51 Ferrari.


 

Audi has started the weekend with the best combined time of the day, 1:42.133, set by the #7 of Lotterer, Fassler y Treluyer. Second best time were set by the #17 Porsche, which were the fastest in the first FP, followed by the #8 Audi

In LMP2 Yacaman, Derani and Gonzalez were the fastest drivers in the #28 G-Drive Ligier with a 1:50.029. After them finished the #47 KCMG Oreca and the #36 Signatech Alpine. All of them set them best time in the second FP because the track was faster than in the first session.

Finally, in GTE, Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander in the #51 AF Corse Ferrari were the fastest in both sessions, with a best time of 1:59.402. The other Ferrari, the #71, finished second, followed by the #92 Porsche of Makowiecki and Pilet.
