Asian Le Mans Cup kicks off with 18 entries and plenty of champions on the grid

Provisional 2026-2027 entry list of the Asian Le Mans Cup: 18 cars across LMP3 Pro, LMP3 and GT3

The first-ever Asian Le Mans Cup grid will feature 18 full-season entries across three classes: 8 cars in LMP3 Pro, 4 in LMP3 and 6 in GT3.

LMP3 Pro: reigning champions

2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champions CLX Motorsport will enter a single Ligier JS P325-Toyota in the newly renamed LMP3 Pro category, while reigning Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 champions R-ace GP will field the only Duqueine D09-Toyota on the grid. 2024/25 Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champions Bretton Racing and 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 champions Team Virage will each enter one car. Asian Le Mans Series race winners 23Events Racing will run a pair of Ligiers, with Gebhardt Motorsport and GMS Team completing the grid for silver and gold rated drivers.

LMP3: four entries with bronze drivers

The class for line-ups featuring at least one bronze driver will have four full-season entries. 2025 and 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 Pro/Am champions Motorsport98 will try to add the Asian Le Mans Series title to their résumé, but will face a strong challenge from a pair of Ligiers entered by CLX Motorsport and from Michelin Le Mans Cup race winners Brutal Fish by Campos Racing, from Spain.

GT3: three Porsches, two Aston Martins and a Ferrari

The GT3 field will feature three Porsche 911s, two Aston Martin Vantages and a single Ferrari 296. 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup GT3 champions Racing Spirit of Léman will enter an Aston Martin Vantage, with 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup champions AF Corse running the only Ferrari on the grid. German team Herberth Motorsport will enter a pair of Porsche 911s, with Austrian team Razoon More Than Racing running the third, while Spanish team E2P Racing will enter an Aston Martin Vantage to complete the six-car GT3 entry.
