Alpine F1 duo Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon delivered the Ballon d’Or trophies at the start of the 2021 ceremony held in Paris.
Ahead of this weekend’s Saudi Arabia GP, the Alpine F1 duo took a small detour as Alonso and Ocon delivered the Ballon d’Or trophies at the start of the 2021 ceremony held in Paris. The French manufacturer were part of the programme as one of its premier sponsors.
Renault chose to push the Alpine brand as Alonso and Ocon drove into the ceremony with the Ballon d’Or trophies wearing a black and golden helmet. They placed the golden footballs on the stage and revealed themselves on the presenter’s request.
Both Alonso and Ocon shared their thoughts likewise before getting off stage to witness the ceremony and also give bytes to media present. The former is a honorary member of Real Madrid football club, while the French supports Paris Saint-Germain.
