Abu Dhabi-
All the drivers headed out as soon as the green flag was waved, Charles Leclerc waiting patiently for the drivers to go. Nirei Fukuzumi was the first to sign a representative laptime but he is quickly beaten by Alexander Albon. Nyck De Vries was the first one to get under the 1:56 laptime, six tenths ahead of his teammate.
Ten minutes into the session, De Vries was in the lead ahead of Jake Dennis and Artur Janosz. Lelcerc, faster over the two first sectors, could not go faster in the third one and had to settle for third place while most of the drivers went into the pits.
Alessio Lorandi did not take part into the session after what seemed to be a spin in his outlap. Jake Hughes had to give up on his second part of the session as DAMS left a cooling-fan on the car.
Dennis beat De Vries for one tenth but Alexander Albon took the best time by 0.25s over Dennis. In his last lap, Dennis was at first faster than Albon who pitted. Both him and Leclerc lost time in the middle sector and could not improve.
