Alexander Albon took his second win in GP3 at Silverstone ahead of Charles Leclerc and Antonio Fuoco.
Charles Leclerc and Akash Nandy both served a five place penalty following the Spielberg round. Santino Ferrucci started from the pitlane after impeding Leclerc in qualifying. Stuvik got out well but could not overtake Albon while Maini had a disastrous first lap, Leclerc gained two places. While he was trying to overtake Fuoco, Isakyaan lost two places by going off the road.
De Vries, who was doing a remarkable come back from P19 on the grif, hit Fukuzumi and recieved a five second penalty. Tereschenko recieved a drive through penalty after starting off place on the grid. Matt Parry was the driver who realised the most daring overtakings on the first part of the race.
Ferrari drivers Leclerc and Fuoco battled for third place and closed down on Stuvik. Fuoco could overtake him a few corners before Leclerc and Hughes did the same. A few laps later, Leclerc overtook Fuoco for second place.
Jake Hughes faced a rear-wing failure and had to pit after being shown the black and orange flag. Parry overtook Stuvik for fourth place when Isakyaan was forced to pit as well. Dennis managed to overtake Palou and Stuvik and take reverse grid pole.
Alexander Albon, never threatened during the race, took his second win in GP3 and took the lead of the championship from Charles Leclerc who finished second ahead of Antonio Fuoco. Parry, De Vries -who kept his P5 despite his penalty- Boschung, Janosz, Dennis, Stuvik and Maini completed the top 10.
