The F1 Abu Dhabi GP wasn’t the most exciting end to the 2019 F1 season with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton winning it at ease but had some stats on offer.

It was a straight pole for Mercedes’ Hamilton in F1 Abu Dhabi GP as Valtteri Bottas got second but had to start from the back. The British racer won the grand prix at ease with no fuss as Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen fought through to second.

He initially lost out to Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc but the Dutchman retook the place as Leclerc ended up third from a charging Bottas, who finished fourth from last, even ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull’s Alexander Albon.

With no retirements at the front, Racing Point’s Sergio Perez was seventh having passed McLaren’s Lando Norris, with Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat ninth ahead of McLaren’s Carlos Sainz, who managed to pass Renault’s Nico Hulkenberg.
