Frankfurt on the Main. Next weekend, the international kart fair is going to take place for the 28th time in Offenbach on the Main. Next to numerous news regarding kart racing, the German Motorsports Foundation (DMSB) is also going to present itself in hall A1. The five grade series of the German Kart Championship are also going to be there. The new BRP-Rotax E-Kart “Project E20” of the DEKM will also be presented.

Traditionally, the visitors of the international kart fair will find the booth of the German Motorsports Foundation (DMSB) in hall A1, stall 14. There, the specialists of the highest German motorsports agency will answer all questions. The focus will be on new license regulations and technical regulations.

At the same time, the DMSB is going to present the German Kart Championship with its five grade series DKM, DJKM, DSKM, DSKC and DEKM. The interest in the racing series is on a very high level again this year. 14 days after the start of registrations, almost 90 drivers have already registered for the championships.

The racing calendar consists of five events spread over Germany and Belgium again. All races are going to be accompanied by an extensive TV reportage with up to 16 hours of live images via online stream. The online registration can be accessed on the DKM website www.kart-dm.de. The German Electric Kart Championship (DEKM) is entering its third year. In 2018, the DMSB marked a milestone in the development of racing towards more sustainability and innovation with the first pure Electric Kart racing series.

This year, the DEKM is going to use a new E-kart. Technical partner BRP-Rotax presented the new model “Project E20” at the end of last year. With a new concept, the kart has got a lighter weight and therefore a higher performance and longer range. The representatives of the DEKM will inform the visitors of the kart fair on both days at the DMSB-booth in hall A1. The registration for the German Electric Kart Championship can be done on the website www.dekm.de – the field of participants is limited to 19 karts.
