Carlin’s Louis Deletraz ended the FIA Formula 2 Championship test on top in Abu Dhabi with Campos’ Jehan Daruvala leading the way in GP3 Series.

Deletraz was quickest of the lot with a 1m49.638s in the afternoon session to end the three-day post-2018 test at Yas Marina Circuit in the Carlin car with Russian Time’s Luca Ghiotto (1m49.904s) in second.

Morning session’s pace-setter DAMS’ Nicholas Latifi was third in the afternoon session with a 1m49.976s as the Canadian found himself in a Russian Time sandwich with Guanyu Zhou (1m50.036s) in fourth.

Zhou, meanwhile, ended up in a DAMS’ sandwich with Sergio Sette Camara (1m50.092s) in fifth ahead of Trident’s Giuliano Alesi (1m50.136s) with Carlin’s Nobuharu Matsushita (1m50.139s) in seventh.

The Top 10 was rounded out by ART’s Nikita Mazepin (1m50.480s) in eighth, followed by MP Motorsport’s Richard Verschoor (1m50.501s) and Prema’s Mick Schumacher (1m50.522s).

Daruvala ended a strong test programme in GP3 by topping the final day with Campos – setting the quickest lap in both the morning and the afternoon sessions. His morning’s best was 1m55.093s which he bettered to set a 1m55.090s.

Jenzer’s Yuki Tsunoda (1m55.136s) was second with Trident’s Logan Sergeant (1m55.159s) third in a trouble-free day as MP Motorsport’s Yi Yifei (1m55.174s) was fourth from Jezner’s Oscar Piastri (1m55.249s).

MP Motorsport’s Lorenzo Colombo (1m55.269s) was sixth with Campos’ Sebastian Fernandez (1m55.290s) seventh as the Top 10 was rounded by Trident’s Marcus Armstrong (1m55.313s) & Devlin Defrancesco (1m55.346s) and Campos’ Alex Peroni (1m55.448s).
