Max Defourny is the winner of Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Race 2 at Monza, Italy. The Belgian driver won a lights to flag race in front of Jehan Daruvala and Will Palmer.

Max Defourny (R-ace GP) started from pole position and maintained this place for the whole race to take an important victory after mechanical issues during yesterday’s race. Jehan Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) finished second after a great fight for this place between him, Palmer and team mate Lando Norris.

The Force India driver in the early stages drop to third, but he managed to catch Norris and overtake him. The Indian was followed by Palmer who did the same move to take his first ever podium in the series.

Yesterday’s race winner Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing) finished on fifth place after a great wheel-to-wheel battle with Nikita Troitskiy (Fortec Motorsports), sixth. The top 10 is completed by Gabriel Aubry seventh, Alex Gil eight, Vasily Romanov ninth, and Henrique Chaves tenth.
