Conor Daly Returns to NASCAR Truck Series with Kaulig in Kansas

The veteran IndyCar driver, Conor Daly, will participate next week in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway. This will be the eighth time Daly competes in the Truck Series and the second of the 2026 season.

Daly will again drive the No. 25 RAM 1500 for Kaulig Racing. Previously, during the summer, he started the race at IRP from the 29th position, finishing finally in 26th.

Regarding the characteristics of the circuit, Daly commented: «Indianapolis was all about momentum and racing in tight spaces, but Kansas is a completely different animal. It’s fast, relies on aerodynamics, and has long corners —you need to fine-tune the vehicle setup and trust the truck during those corners».

In addition to his performances in the Truck Series, Daly has participated in three races of the NASCAR Cup and in the O’Reilly Series, including an appearance at the Daytona 500 in 2023, where he finished in 29th position.

In his IndyCar career, Daly has stood out for his performance in the 2023 Indianapolis 500, where he managed to lead four laps and finished in 12th position. Additionally, he has recorded a total of 133 races, with two podiums and one pole position on his resume.

Daly expressed his satisfaction with racing for Kaulig Racing, stating that he enjoyed the experience in Indianapolis: «The team welcomed me with open arms, the truck was competitive, and racing in front of the home crowd made it a special night. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to keep the momentum going in Kansas».

The No. 25 has had several drivers this year, including names like Tony Stewart, Travis Pastrana, and AJ Allmendinger, among others. The team’s best finish this season has been a sixth position at Watkins Glen with Allmendinger behind the wheel.
