Sergio Canamasas will be back in GP2 with Trident, while Tio Ellinas will make his debut in the category with MP Motorsport.

The announcement was made in the official GP2 Twitter account this afternoon. The catalan driver will replace Axcil Jefferies in Trident, while Ellinas will take Jon Lancaster’s seat in MP Motorsport.

It’s going to be the third season in GP2 for Canamasas, after being able to score points for the first time last year. The drivers is back on his home GP, where he did a remarkable race last year but was not able to obtain the result he wished because of the bad luck that he had during all the season.

Tio Ellinas will make his debut in GP2 after 2 years in GP3, where he got the 4th place on the standings in 2013.
