Cadillac has announced the addition of Ricky Taylor and António Félix da Costa to its factory Jota team for the 2027 World Endurance Championship (WEC). These additions highlight a renewal in driving, with Taylor and da Costa replacing Sebastien Bourdais and Alex Lynn, who will leave the team at the end of the season with the Monza Grand Prix.

Jota team director Sam Hignett expressed his excitement about the new lineup. “We are very excited about our drivers for 2027. Both António and Ricky are immensely talented drivers who already know the team well,” Hignett said. “They bring a wealth of experience and, equally important, they are excellent teammates, perfect for the group we currently have.”

Ricky Taylor, 37, is already familiar with the Cadillac LMDh prototype, which he has been competing with since 2025 for his family team WTR in the IMSA Championship. Taylor, who debuted with Jota at the Lone Star Le Mans in September as a substitute driver, will combine his new responsibilities in the WEC with a season in IMSA. “I am very honored to join Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA for the 2027 season,” Taylor commented.

Antonio Félix da Costa returns to Jota after a period away from the Hypercar during 2024 and 2025, and after a season with Alpine. The Portuguese had been looking for options to continue in the championship after Renault announced the closure of its Hypercar program. “I feel very good returning to JOTA, where I made great memories and where I have many friends,” da Costa expressed.

With the additions of Taylor and da Costa, the Jota team adapts to the needs of the championship while parting ways with Bourdais and Lynn. Alex Lynn, who has recently returned from a long injury, has been confirmed to join the McLaren Hypercar team. “We are delighted to welcome Alex to our team. His experience and speed will be a very valuable asset for our program.”

The future of Bourdais, who has had a successful career in various fields, remains uncertain after failing to secure a new agreement with Cadillac. The veteran continues to chase his first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
